JAKARTA (8 Sept 2012) – Indonesia have included games against Thailand and Brunei later this month as part of their preparation for the AFF Suzuki Cup 2012 later this year.
In total, the Indonesia national side under Nil Maizar will play a total of five friendly matches including games against DPR Korea in the SCTV Cup on 10th September in Jakarta and then against Vietnam on 15September in Surabaya.
They will then play the return tie against Vietnam at the My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi on 22 September.. The game against Thailand has been slated for 26 September before the Brunei tie a few days later.
“After the series of friendlies, the players will be allowed home before returning for centralised training on 10 October 2012. By then, we would have identified players for the next phase of the preparation,” said Bernhard Limbong, of the PSSI National Team Management.
