JAKARTA (26 April 2014) – The Indonesian national Futsal team has set a realistic target of just making the quarter-finals of the AFC Futsal Championship 2014 which will be played in Vietnam this year on 30 April until 10 May.
For the AFC Futsal Championship 2014, Indonesia are in Group B against powerhouse Iran, Australia and China.
“We have set a realistic target which is just to get past the group stage,” said team spokesman Efraim Ferdinand.“We will be up against strong teams in the group but we also have quality on our side and I believe that the players will give a good account of themselves.
“We would like to create history of course. We hope to draw China and beat Australia. Iran are just too good.”
