JAKARTA (23 April 2013) – Despite winning their second HKFA (Hong Kong FA) Under-19 Championship title in two years, the Indonesian squad is still on the lookout for new players.
With Argentine Luis Manuel Blanco turning down the chance to coach the team for this year’s AFF U19 Championship slated for 9-22 September in Surabaya, the task of handling the team will still be in the hands of Indra Sjafri.
Centralised training is expected for 1 May 2013.
“We will be on the lookout for new players born in 1995 who are playing in the Indonesian Super League, the Premier League, the First Division and also Deportivo Indonesia,” said Indra.
“At the moment, I’m working on the programme for the team which I will then submit to the BTN (the Indonesia National Team Management).”
