BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (13 August 2016) – Indera SC moved up to seventh in the DST Super League 2016 after beating Royal Brunei Police Force Sports Council (MS PDB) 1-0 last night.
Following a first-half deadlock, Indera finally opened account in the 67th minute when Mohamad Haikal Zaidi fired in a free-kick from 25 yards out.
Mohammad Asri Aspar then made sure of the three points when he punished some hesitant MS PDB defending in the 75th minute.
“I was happy with the win even though we had a very shaky start in the first half,” said Indera head coach Omar Jamil.
“Securing three points in all of our matches right now will be our main priority — especially in our upcoming match against MS ABDB.”
The win gave Indera their second full points from two matches played.
