JAKARTA (15 March 2013) – There was definitely an air of positive atmosphere at the latest Indonesian national centralized training camp following the improvement in attendance of players playing in the Indonesia Super League (ISL).
While previous Indonesia training camp were shunned by most players from the ISL, this time round however, more than half had already turned up in Jakarta to train under newly-appointed chief coach Luis Manuel Blanco.
Out of the 58 players listed for centralized training in preparation for the 2015 AFC Asian Cup qualifying match against Saudi Arabia on 23 March 2013, around 30 players have already checked in.
Among them are Ferdinand Sinaga (Persisam Samarinda), Abdul Rahman, Ponaryo Astaman (pix) (Sriwijaya FC), Jajang Mulyana, Ahmad Bustomi and Samsidar (Mitra Kukar) alongside Patrich Wanggai, Ferinando Pahabol, Richardo Salampessy and also Boaz Solossa (Persipura Jayapura).
