Hong Kong Test For Singapore

SINGAPORE (10 August 2012) – Three-time ASEAN champions Singapore will begin their preparation for the AFF Suzuki Cup 2012 later this year by taking on Hong Kong in a friendly in less than a week.

The game will be played at the Bishan Stadium on 15 August 2012.

Following the rehabilitation from injuries on regulars like Shahril Ishak, Agu Casmir and Safuwan Baharudin, national coach Radojko Avramovic has given the opportunity to four newcomers the chance to win their first international cap.

The four players are Nazrul Nazari and Shahfiq Ghani from the Young Lions, Joey Sim from Balestier Khalsa and Jufri Taha from Tampines Rovers.
