HO CHI MINH CITY (3 Nov 2015) – Hanoi T&T won the Vietnam National Under-21 Football Championship when they beat An Giang 2-1 in the final that was played at the Thong Nhat Stadium.
Two goals from Van Thanh – the first as early as third minute off a cross from Van Hiep and then another from a header in the 35th minute – made sure that Hanoi were in a comfortable position at the break.
An Giang tried to get back into the game but the loss of Lam Quy for a second yellow card into the second half compounded matters.
However, Thanh Thao did managed to pull a goal back for An Giang in the 59th minute but that was all they could muster as Hanoi kept it tight at the back to lift the crown.
