HAMMAM TO LAUNCH CHONBURI ELITE LEAGUE

The AFC chief will be joined by FA of Thailand (FAT) president Dato’ Worawi Makudi and Chonburi FA President Vitaya Khunplome in the south-eastern province of Thailand.

The league’s launch will be followed by the inaugural match an hour later.

Prior to that, the Chonburi FA will make a presentation at their headquarters on the development of football in Chonburi before Vision
Asia (VA), Chonburi FA history, activities of the FA after joining VA, the challenges faced and success stories.

The Chonburi FA are currently finalising the logo and official name of the Chonburi Elite League while eight clubs are working on fulfilling the criteria and submitting documents to AFC in order for them to be eligible to compete in the upcoming league.

The pioneering clubs are Muangchon United, Chon Chai Wanderers FC, Sattahip Borough FC, Siracha Athletics FC, Banglamung Rovers FC, Assum Novads FC, Banbueng FC and Ko Chan County FC.
