HAGL SET TO LOSE DATSAKORN

HANOI (9 Jan 2010) – Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAGL) are set to lose midfielder Datsakorn Thonglao for the new V-League season even though the Thai international still has a year’s contact left.

Datsakorn joined HAGL in 2007 with a three-year contract and a monthly pay of VND70 million (USD3,800).

It is believed that current Thai champions Muang Thong United are interested in signing him for the new Thai Premier League season.

But while HAGL contend with the expected loss, they however received some good news this week with the return of Vietnamese-American halfback Lee Nguyen.

Since late October 2009, Lee Nguyen had been absent following a three-week training course with the Arsenal youth team.

HAGL were the V-League champions in 2003 and 2004.
