BANGKOK (4 August 2014) – Mario Gjurovski grabbed a brace as Muang Thong United thrashed PTT Rayong 3-0 to keep up the pressure at the top of the Thai Premier League (TPL) 2014.
Gjurovski was on target early in the sixth minutes to be followed by a second strike in the 75th minute as Milan Bubalo scored the other to give Muang Thong their fifteenth win of the season.
With the full points, Muang Thong have picked up 53 points from 27 matches played – just three points adrift of current league leaders Buriram United and two points behind second-placed Chonburi FC.
Elsewhere, Si Sa Ket edged BEC Tero Sasana 3-2, as Osotspa M-150 Saraburi battled Ratchaburi to a 1-1 draw.
