JAKARTA (17 July 2012) – Garuda Indonesia have signed a three-year deal with Liverpool FC which will see them being the official international carrier for the English Premier League side.
“It is a fantastic collaboration,” said Ian Ayre, Liverpool FC’s managing director. “Liverpool have a global fan base and we hope that through this partnership with Garuda Indonesia, it will assist them to grow even further.”
“And considering the huge following we have in Indonesia, we hope that we can arrange for a pre-season friendly in Jakarta next year.”
Added Emirsyah Satar, the chief executive officer of Garuda Indonesia: “we hope that through this partnership, it can help us in our aspiration to further broaden our market.”
