JAKARTA (17 May 2010) – Jakarta will be playing hosts to the FIFA Futuro Course III Refereeing Instructors Course ASEAN Zone on 17-22 July this year.
The Futuro programme is part of FIFA Goal project which is organised throughout the world and the FA of Indonesia (PSSI) have been given the honour to organise the Refereeing Instructors Course. Futuro III Refereeing Instructors Course is organised for the benefit of referee instructors from the 11 ASEAN member countries where they job is to develop calibre referees of the future. And this year, member countries also involved Australia following the FIFA suspension on Brunei. The Futuro III Refereeing Instructors Course in Jakarta is coordinated by FIFA development officer Azimi Abdullah. “The PSSI have done a great job in making all the necessary arrangements, all that is left for is for me to report to FIFA that PSSI are well and ready to organise the course,” said Azimi. Futuro III Refereeing Instructors Course will be broken up into three different syllabus and they are technical instructor course, administrator course and also fitness instructor course. “We would like to have women attending the course as in Asia, the number of women instructors is still very low,” Azimi added. |
