BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (9 October 2024) – Captain Paulo Domingos Gali Da Costa Freitas gave Timor-Leste a slim 1-0 win over Brunei Darussalam in the first-leg, playoffs ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric Cup 202 at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium.
Freitas scored the only goal of the game in the 47th minute.
The return tie will be played on 15 October 2024 at the Chonburi Stadium in Thailand.
