HANOI (24 July 2008) – Vietnam national coach Henrique Calisto has listed four new faces to the squad which is preparing to face the Brazilian Olympic team at the My Dinh National Stadium on 1 August, 2008.
The team which had only recently returned from a playing tour of China, have left out goalkeeper Tan Truong and midfielder Truong Giang. Calisto has instead included Thanh Phuc from club Da Nang for the first time and also The Anh, Minh Duc and Hong Minh in the squad. “I hope that the players will do everything they can to entertain the home fans and learn from their more famous South American counterparts,” added Calisto.
