PHNOM PENH (6 March 2016) – Defending champions Boeung Ket Angkor picked up their first win of the season when they beat Cambodian Tiger 3-1 in the Metfone C-League at the National Olympic Stadium this week.
Boeung Ket had opened the 2017 season with a 2-2 draw against Preah Khan Reach before being humiliated 3-0 by Army FC.
Despite trailing by a goal down from Tigers, Boeung Ket came back to score through Tomoki Muramatsu, Khoun Laboravy and Brazilian Maycon Calijuri for the win.
Elswhere, Army beat Asia Euro United 4-1 as Electricite du Cambodge edged Kirivong Sok Sen Chey 2-0 while Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng thrashed Western Phnom Penh FC 5-0.
