FIRST WIN FOR NAGA CORP AND POST TEL

While Naga Corp FC did not have to struggle too much before scoring a 5-3 win over Build Bright United, the story was a little different for Post Tel Club when they had to comeback from being a goal down before posting a 3-1 victory over Phouchung Neak FC.

An early third minute strike from Sun Samprathna set the tone for the game as Naga Corp then raced to a 2-0 lead at the half with the second goal from Chhim Sambo in the 37th minute.

Chhim then made it 3-0 with his second strike of the afternoon in the 56th minute before Build Bright pulled a goal back off Prum Putsithy three minutes later.

Tiep Vathanak then made it 4-1 in the 73rd minute as Build Bright struck twice within four minutes (Kang Sopheak in the 81st minute and Sem Bunny in the 85th) to pull up to 4-3.

However, N. Friday made sure of the three points for Naga Corp and their first win of the season with their fifth goal deep in injury time.

In the meantime, Post Tel Club could not have started their game on a worse note when they conceded an early goal to Phouchung Neak through O. O Joseph’s fourth minute strike.

But Post Tel bounced back in the 19th minute when Touch Sok Heng found the equalizer for the score to be at 1-1 at the break.

Eight minutes after the restart, and Post Tel grabbed the lead for the first time in the game – with Sok Heng again on target.

In the 63rd minute, Phany Chamroeun then put the game beyond the reach of Phouchung Neak with the third goal for Post Tel.

With the win, Naga Corp moved up to third at the table while Post Tel are now seventh.
