KANGAR (11 Nov 2015) – The first AFC Futsal Level 1 Coaching Course was held recently in the northern Malaysian state of Perlis at the Perlis State Sport Council headquarters.
The basic futsal coaching course, organised by the Perlis FA ran with 20 participants, including two women attending the programme.
The course is the 16th AFC futsal coaching course in Malaysia, an encouraging sign of futsal coaches development in the ASEAN nation.
“This is our first AFC futsal coaching course in Perlis and our Perlis FA President and the various committees are looking forward to organising more coaching courses in the year 2016,” said General Secretary of Perlis FA Dato’ Che Sulaiman Shafie.
“I would like to thank the Perlis sports authorities for the support to provide facilities to help organise the course smoothly. This is a good start for Perlis FA in futsal and we will fully utilise the local coaches in our participation in the upcoming national futsal league.”
The course is instructed by AFC Futsal Coaching Instructor Chiew Chun Yong from Malaysia.
