VIENTIANE (8 Nov 2015) – FIFA Live Your Goals has finally arrived Laos and was officially launched in Vientiane by the Lao FF Women’s Football Committee at Chao Anouvong Stadium recently.
Over 200 girls aged between 8 to 12-years-old participated and were encouraged to play football thru football clinic run by national team coaches, national team players and football technical experts.
Live Your Goals aims to encourage more girls and women to play, participate and stay involved in the game.
The aim is to create more opportunities for women’s football to thrive globally.
The Live Your Goals Campaign targets and inspires more girls and women to play football.
The campaign was launched at the FIFA World Cup in Germany and has evolved into one of the FIFA’s most recognised initiatives in women’s football.
The objectives are to increase number of women and girls in football, to create opportunities for women’s football to thrive and to ensure that football continues to be the number-one female team sport.
