JAKARTA (6 Sept 2013) – The FA of Indonesia (PSSI) have decided that their first approval for funding from the FIFA Goal Project will be used to upgrade the POR Sawangan Sports Complex in Depok to a synthetic pitch.
Joko Driyono, the General Secretary of the PSSI, said this week that the FIFA Goal Project is worth USD 500,000.
“I have been informally notified that for the first time ever Indonesia will receive funding from the FIFA Goal Project,” said Joko.
The venue in Depok had previously been inspected by FIFA representative David Borja and Domeka Garamendi from the FIFA Development Office in Kuala Lumpur.
