DILI (12 Dec 2020) – In spite of the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, the FA of Timor Leste (FFTL) have had quite a successful season which culminates with the holding of the FFTL Congress earlier today.
With the activities of the association limited to shortened tournaments in 2020, the Congress was held to approve the 2019 Audited Accounts.
FFTL are under the presidency of Francisco Jeronimo. “Other than having the approval for the Audited Accounts for 2019, there is also the need to press on the proper establishments of associations at the district level,” said Jeronimo.
“I told the Congress participants that they will have to fulfill this requirement by the end of the year. There are 14 districts in total where there will also be a need to form the Referee Association, Women’s Football Association and also the Coaches Association.”
