SINGAPORE (7 Jan 2014) – With exactly ten days left to the start of the Malaysian Super League season, LIONSXII coach Fandi Ahmad is keeping a strong front despite the two losses the team suffered in pre-season friendlies.
LIONSXII, the defending champions of the Malaysian Super League, conceded a 3-1 loss to Courts Young Lions before falling to a 3-0 defeat to Persib Solo in the match that was played in Jogjakarta this week.
“The results are disappointing but we created a lot of chances in the matches that we have played and that is a positive sign,” said Fandi (pix).
LIONSXII will play PPSM Magelang to complete their trip to Jogjakarta.
