PETALING JAYA (27 July 2012) – The game of Futsal in Malaysia is about to see improvements following the recent appointment of Marcelo Serpa Coelho as the FA of Malaysia (FAM) Futsal technical director.
The immediate task for the Brazilian would be to orchestrate the organization of the men’s and women’s Futsal team for the SEA Games which will be hosted by Myanmar next year.
“The first step is for him to look at the game of Futsal in Malaysia and its relation to the national team,” said Datuk Dr. Hamdan Mohamed Khalib, the chairman of the FAM Committee for Futsal and Beach Football.
“We have set him the target of making the final of both the men’s and women’s Futsal event at the SEA Games in Myanmar.”
