VIENTIANE (26 Oct 2015) – Lao Toyota made it a fabulous weekend when they won the Lao Premier League 2015 – on goal difference!
Going into the final game of the season, Lao Toyota were on the same 45 points with Lanexang United with the former having a three-goal advantage over the latter.
But in the end, Lanexang’s 2-0 victory over defending champions Hoang Ang Attapeu failed to overhaul Lao Toyota following their 3-1 win over Lao Police.
The win was enough for Lao Toyota to pick up their first ever Lao Premier League crown with the same 48 points but on a superior three goals difference.
2015 champions Hoang Anh Attapeu finished the season on fifth.
