ELECTRIC PLN YOGYAKARTA EMERGE CHAMPIONS OF IFL

With the victory, the star-studded Electric PLN side took home USD5,000 for their effort.

But the win was by no means easy for Electric PLN as they had to endure some anxious moments where coupled with the hardwork of international custodian Yos Adi made all the difference in the final count.

And in the end, the goals off Socrates Matulessy and Sayan Karmadi were enough to give Electric PLN their first ever national Futsal crown.

The only goal from Biangbola FC was scored by Henry where they also picked up two other awards for the Best Player of the Tournament which went to Deny Handoyo while the Top Scorer award was picked up by Achmad Syaibani with 22 goals.

“It is all down to hardwork from all players since the start of the season. We maintained our consistency until the final game against Biangbola FC and that was the key to it all,” said Andri Irawan, the captain of Electric PLN.

In the meantime, Pelindo came in third in the IFL this year when they beat My Futsal 2-1 with the winner coming off a penalty from Tafiqurrahman two minutes to the end.
