EL LOCO BEGINS TRAINING WITH INDONESIA

JAKARTA (11 Nov 2010) – Christian ‘El Loco’ Gonzalez kept his promise that he will start training with the Indonesia national team this week in preparation for the AFF Suzuki Cup 2010 which the country will be playing to as one of the hosts next month.

The Persib Bandung striker of Uruguayan origin is among the 22 players who reported for training under Indonesia chief coach Alfred Riedl.

Three players failed to turn up and they are Hariono, also from Persib Bandung with two others from Papua – Boas Salossa and Octovianus Maniani.

Hariono is down with a bad fever, Boas Salossa is tied with a personal problem while Octovianus Maniani will arrive later today.

“Octo wanted to be here earlier but we could not arrange for his flight,” said Reza from the Indonesia National Team Management.
