PHNOM PENH (3 March 2013) – Defending champions Boueng Ket Rubber Field made it all too easy on the Metfone Cambodia League 2013 weekend when they picked up another full points following their 3-1 win over National Defense Ministry at the National Olympic Stadium.
Momoh Sumaila gave Boueng Ket the lead after just 11 minutes before further goals from Chan Vattanaka in the 48th minute and Bisan George in the 62nd minute. The only goal from National Defense came off Pov Phearith right at the end in the 90th minute.
In an earlier match, Kirivong Sok Sen Chey FC were also on a winning path when they thrashed Build Bright United FC 4-1.
Njoku David put Kirivong in front in the 9th minute as Mam Sophal then gave a 2-0 lead at the half with the second goal in the 14th minute. Hou Sambo then made it 3-0 in the 58th minute as Build Bright pulled a goal back just a minute later.
Savoan Ratanakraksa then made the game for Kirivong with the fourth goal two minutes to the end.
