HANOI (8 May 2012) – Vietnam national Under-22 chief coach Mai Duc Chung has called on 60 players to attend try outs in search of players for the AFC Under-22 Asian Cup qualifiers next month.
Among those players who have received call ups are Van Quyet, Hoang Thinh, Au Van Hoan, Buu Ngoc, Thanh Hoa, Danh Ngoc, Gia Tu, Hoang Thien, Xuan Hieu, Nhat Nam and Van Nam.
From the list of 60 trainees, Duc Chung will shortlist around 30 players for a two-week training course in the Czech Republic beginning on 5 June 2012.
Vietnam are in Group G against Chinese Taipei, Korea Republic, Malaysia, Myanmar and the Philippines. The group will play all their matches in Yangon, Myanmar on 22 June to 9 July 2012.
