HANOI (13 Aug 2012) – Hanoi T&T might have dropped two points on the weekend but in the end, the scoreless draw against Song Lam Nghe An (SLNA) in the 19th round of the Eximbank V-League 2013 was enough for them to maintain their position at the top of the standings.
With the one point, Hanoi T&T have picked up a total of 35 points as against SLNA’s 33 points.
And with just three more matches to play for to the end of the season, the closing stages will be close indeed as defending champions SHB Da Nang (on 4th) and Hoang Anh Gia Lai (on 3rd) are just four points behind the leaders.
Elsewhere, Thanh Hoa beat Ninh Binh 1-0 as Kien Giang edged Xuan Thanh Sai Gon 3-1 while Binh Duong beat Hai Phong 2-1.
