SINGAPORE (28 Oct 2012) – Brunei’s only professional club DPMM FC will be hoping for a favour from Malaysia’s Harimau Muda to win their first ever Singapore S-League crown.
Heading into the final game of the season next week, DPMM FC are currently second in the S-League with 48 points – just one point behind defending champions Tampines Rovers.
DPMM will be up against Balestier Khalsa FC where they will be going all out for a win while hoping that Harimau Muda pull out all the stops to prevent a Tampines Rovers win.
“Tampines have really good players and if Harimau Muda does not play their full team, the match between these two clubs will be a 50-50 (toss up),” said Vjeran Simunic, the chief coach of DPMM FC.
“For this last game, I expect at least 30,000 or more people to come and support the team.”
