JAKARTA (3 March 2013) – Djohar Ariffin, the president of the FA of Indonesia (PSSI) has warned meddling parties against interfering in the process of reconciliation between the PSSI and KPSI (the breakaway group).
Following the decision to have the annual Congress in Jakarta on 17 March 2013 – three days ahead of FIFA’s deadline – the two parties concerned took a big step last week when the four sacked Exco members – La Nyalla, Tony Aprilani, Roberto Rouw and Erwin Dwi Budiawan – finally returned to the fold.
“Please do not interfere in this effort towards unity in Indonesian football,” said Djohar (pix). “Both parties are now in talks and we are working towards bringing the fans back to the stadium. We have a deadline of 20 March, so let us work towards that. We are just thinking to save Indonesia.”
