SINGAPORE (7 Oct 2016) – Singapore’s dominance in the Causeway Challenge 2016 failed to produce the right results for the homesters when they were held to a scoreless draw by Malaysia tonight at the National Stadium.
A defensive minded Malaysians parading a handful of new faces in the squad left behind their offensive play as Singapore hit the woodwork three times through the triumvirate of Izdin Syafiq, Khairul Amri and Faris Ramli.
Both teams are using the game to polish up for the AFF Suzuki Cup next month.
