DAK LAK AND DONG NAI THE FRONTRUNNERS

Dak Lak is at the top of Group D with nine points after a 1-0 victory against host Hoang Anh Gia Lai while Dong Nai share the lead with Dak Lak following their 2-0 win over the 7th Military Zone team.

In the other match of Group D, Saigon Port scored a 3-2 win over Tay Ninh.

In Group A at the Nam Dinh Stadium, Hanoi ACB stole to a valuable 1-0 victory over The Cong, while Quang Ninh bagged a 3-2 win over Hoa Phat.

Group B on the other hand, host Thua Thien-Hue romped to an easy 4-0 win over Thanh Hoa, while Quang Nam battled to a 2-2 draw against the 4th Military Zone team.

In the meantime, in Group C at the Chi Lang Stadium, Phu Yen took a 1-0 victory over Lam Dong as Song Lam Nghe An settled for a 1-1 deadlock against the 5th Military Zone team.

In Group E games at the Binh Duong Stadium, HCMC Club scored their third consecutive win with a 1-0 victory over Vinh Long, while Dong Tam Long An seized a 1-0 victory over Hong Bang University.

In the Group F match up at Long Xuyen Stadium, SHS Tien Giang crushed Nguyen Hoang Kien Giang 4-0.
