HANOI (11 April 2011) – Da Nang FC moved up to second in the V-League when they beat Hoa Phat Hanoi 2-0 at the Chi Lang Stadium.
Nicolas gave Da Nang the lead in the 10th minute as Merlo Gaston then doubled their lead fifteen minutes later with drive from 25 metres out.
In the meantime, Hai Phong were held to a 2-2 draw by Binh Duong at the Lach Tray Stadium.
The home team took the lead on 19 minute off Thiago before Leandro then slammed home the equaliser for Binh Duong in the 37th minute.
Thiago then gave Hai Phong their second goal of the afternoon after the break but they were denied the full points when Vu Phong equalised.
At the Dong Thap stadium, Samson’s late minute strike two minutes to the end helped Dong Thap to a 2-2 draw with Khanh Hoa.
Van Hoan had grabbed the lead for the visitors in the sixth minute as Hammed then nailed the equaliser for Dong Thap in the 17th minute.
Khanh Hoa went ahead again through Agostino but Samson levelled the score to earn Dong Thap the one point.
At the Pleiku Stadium, the match between Hoang Anh Gia Lai and Thanh Hoa also ended in a 2-2 draw while hosts Hanoi ACB emphatically thrashed Dong Tam Long An 3-1 at the Hang Day Stadium.
In the other matches, Song Lam Nghe An beat Ninh Binh 1-0 to maintain their position at the top of the table while defending champions Hanoi T & T demolished Navibank Saigon 4-0.
