HANOI (21 April 2010) – Defending V-League champions SHB Da Nang kept pace with leaders Hanoi T&T when they scored a 2-1 win over Dong Tam Long An for them to be just a point adrift.
But Da Nang still have a game in hand where they have played only eight matches in the V-League thus far this season as against Hanoi T&T’s nine – the latest being their scoreless draw against Song Lam Nghe An. In the other matches, Binh Duong overcame Navibank Saigon 3-1, Dong Thap beat Hoang Anh Gia Lai 1-0 while a last minute goal from Luong Phuc gave Nam Dinh a narrow 1-0 win over Hoa Phat at the Thien Truong Stadium. The victory has allowed Nam Dinh to move into 13th spot – just a rung above basement side Navibank. Ninh Binh secured a 4-2 victory over Thanh Hoa as Khanh Hoa defeat Hai Phong 2-1 at the Nha Trang Stadium following a brace (45th and 60th minute) from Vietnam international Quang Hai.
