PHNOM PENH (7 July 2014) – Phnom Penh Crown FC picked up another easy three points as they continued their march to the Metfone Cambodia League 2014 crown after beating National Police 3-1 at the National Olympic Stadium.
And the four-time champions proved their worth when they raced to a 3-0 lead in just an under an hour off goals from Bisan George (23rd minute), Odion Obadin (43rd) and Kouch Sokumpheak (60th).
With the win, Crown have opened up an eight point lead over second placed Boueng Ket Rubber Field with just three more matches to play for.
Elsewhere, Build Bright United edged Kirivong Sok Sen Chey FC 2-1 while Albirex Niigata Phnom Penh battled Asia Europe University to a 2-2 draw.
