HANOI (23 Feb 2013) – Vietnam top striker Le Cong Vinh has signed for his former club Song Lam Nghe An FC (SLNA) – the team that he had started with in his hometown of Vinh.
With the threat of unemployment looming following the closure of his former club Hanoi FC, his signing with SLNA meant that Cong Vinh will also have opportunity to get back into the Vietnam national team.
Cong Vinh signed for SLNA on loan for one year for VND500 million (USD 25,000). His salary is VND30 million (USD 1,500) a month.
