SINGAPORE (22 Sept 2015) – It took a wild shot right at the end before DPMM FC were able to maintain their top spot in the S-League 2015 following their close 2-1 win over Courts Young Lions tonight.
The injury time winner was struck by Rosmin Kamis as DPMM opened up a six-point lead at the top of the table.
“It’s a relief, because if we haven’t got the three points, that would have really dented out momentum and we want to continue to put pressure on the teams around us,” said DPMM coach Steve Kean.
“Psychologically it’s a big one. It gives us a big lift to score so late, and probably puts us in a strong position now that we can keep the momentum going – that’s the most important thing.
Boris Raspudic had given DPMM the lead after 40 minutes before Young Lions cancelled the advantage through Muhammad Shameer Aziq Abdul Razak’s 74th minute equalizer.
