CHUKWUMA DOUBLE LEAD KIRIVONG OVER NATIONAL DEFENSE

Chukwuma was on target in the 43rd and 88th minute where in between Sin Dalin pulled a goal back for National Defense with their only goal in the game in the 56th minute.

With the three points, Kirivong are just ahead on fourth at the table – a point adrift of National Defense on fifth.

In the meantime, Wat Phnom had to fight tooth and nail to win the one point against fellow strugglers Preak Pra Keila FC.

And it was Prek Pra Keila who grabbed the early goal – going in front in the 26th minute off Mat Hasan only to see them playing with ten men early in the second half following the red card (two yellow cards offense) on Put Sotheara.

Wat Phnom then banked on their numerical advantage and replied with the equalizer in the 56th minute from captain Phlong Chanthou as Ry Pheareun then slammed home the second goal five minutes later.

But as Wat Phnom look to win only their fourth match in 11matches, the loss of Ejike Peter for his second yellow card offense put pressure on them and Prek Pra Keila made sure that they at least steal the one point with the all-important equalizer nine minutes to the end through Ali Philip.

Incidentally, Ali was also sent off from the match deep in injury time after picking up his second yellow card in the game.
