YANGON (19 May 2013) – A late strike from Chukwuazu four minutes to the end gave Zeyar Shwe Myay the full points as they moved up to second in the Myanmar National League (MNL) this week.
Zeyar Shwe Myay put up a more determined performance against the same Ayeyawady side the previous week where this time round, they clawed back from a goal down to win the tie 2-1.
Leandro had given Ayeyawady the lead on 31 minute before Zeyar Shwe Myay struck back with goals from Si Thu Win in the 80th minute and then Chukwuazu in the 86th minute for the win.
In the meantime, Manaw Myay FC were held to a 1-1 draw by Yadanarbon FC with Assale’s 53rd minute strike for Manaw Myay being cancelled out by Yan Paing nine minutes to the end.
