BANGKOK (30 Dec 2011) – With Buriram PEA already confirmed as the champions of the Thai Premier League 2011, Chonburi FC have now secured the runners-spot following their slim win over Bangkok Glass this week.
The only goal in the game came off striker Pipob On-mo four minutes to the end for the Sharks to rake in the full points as Muang Thong United slipped to third in the standings with no hope of overtaking even though the latter still have three more matches to play for.
Elsewhere, struggling SCG Samut Songkhram did no favour to themselves when they could not get the better of Osotspa M-150 Saraburi following a scoreless draw.
