HANOI (3 Nov 2012) – Thailand’s Chonburi FC and Brazilian giant Gremio have been confirmed for the BTV Cup 2012 that will be played at the Go Dau Stadium in the province of Binh Duong on 16-25 November.
Chonburi (pix), which emerged as the second best team in the recently concluded Thai Premier League 2012, have been placed in Group A of the meet against hosts Becamex Binh Duong, the Under-23 Vietnam national side and also Express FC of Uganda.
In the meantime, Gremio are in Group B against Vietnam’s V-League sides SHB Danang and Saigon Xuan Thanh with Fukuoka FC from Japan for company.
