BANGKOK (26 Sept 2017) – Charyl Chappuis is back with the Thai national team after being absent for more than six months.
His last appearance with the national side was when they won the AFF Suzuki Cup 2016 last year.
“Seeing my name in the national team again really makes me happy. That means I have done a pretty good job to be in the team again. I feel so proud,” said the 25-year-old.
“I want to prove that I’m good enough for the national team. I hope that I will make it to the first team.”
The SCG Muangthong’s midfielder is among the 24 players selected by national coach Milovan Rajevac for 5 October’s away game against Mynmar in Mandalay and then against Kenya at the SCG Stadium, three days later.
