BANGKOK (June 1, 2007) – Tobacco Monopoly FC have the chance of opening up a lead at the top of the Premier League in Thailand when they take on BEC Tero Sasana tomorrow.
Tobacco Monopoly, who jumped to the top of the table the previous week following their 3-2 away win over TOT FC, are now at the top of the standings with 24 points from 12 matches. They scored seven wins, three draws and two losses. However, their continued place at the top is no sure guarantee as second place Chonburi FC is on the same 24 points from the same wins, draws and losses although on a lesser goal difference. Chonburi, who slipped to a 1-0 home loss to Provincial Electrical two days ago, will take on Osotspa M150 away tomorrow to inject some composure back to their campaign. CURRENT STANDING 1. Tobacco Monopoly FC 24pts; 2. Chonburi FC 24pts; 3. BEC Tero Sasana 23pts |
