HANOI (28 March 2012) – Defending champions Song Lam Nghe An (SLNA) finally found the target for their third win on the 1th match day of the V-League Eximbank when they beat Ninh Bing FC 2-0 on the road this week. After eleven matches, SLNA have picked up 17 points from 11 games to be placed fourth.
SLNA made sure of the full points with a goal in each half off Bebbe in the ninth minute and Hector in the 55th minute.
“I think Ninh Binh are a strong football team, but SLNA controlled the match well. I am very satisfied with my players’ performance. They showed their spirit and determination. This win is a big driving force for the team after a series of draws,” said SLNA coach Nguyen Huu Thang.
In the meantime former champions Binh Duong FC moved to the top of the table with close 1-0 win over Saigon FC as Hanoi FC drew with Navibank Saigon 1-1 at the Hang Day Stadium.
