PETALING JAYA (19 August 2014) – The Malaysia Cup Group C match between Lions XII and Pahang at the Jalan Besar Stadium in Singapore ended in dramatic fashion as the defending champions added more misery on the homesters with a 2-1 win to remain unbeaten after two matches.
The visitors who whipped Johor Darul Takzim II in their first match at the Darul Makmur Stadium in Kuantan, were comfortably 2-0 up until deep into injury time when the Lions scored a consolation goal through Faris Ramli (95th minute) as Pahang defender Zesh Rehman hesitated after the ball had hit the linesman and bounced into play.
