CAMBOSIX-FUNAN FINAL IN CAMBODIA FUTSAL CUP

In the semi-finals, Cambosix made short work of Khmer Eysann 3-2 while Funan disposed of Olympic Youth 4-2.

It would seem that two early goals from Keo Nareth in the second minute and then Be Put Soth barely a minute later made all the difference as Cambosix raced a 2-1 lead at the break with Khmer blasting their first goal in the made Ly Virak in the tenth minute.

Be Put then restored Cambosix’s two-goal advantage with his second goal of the afternoon as Ly Sophiak then pulled a late strike with seconds remaining on the clock.

Funan on the other hand, struggled against Olympic Youth when they were held to a 1-1 deadlock at the half through Long Nasy’s goal in the fifth minute before Olympic replied off Khao Uy Sing in the 20th minute.

And things seem to take a turn for the worse when Chea Theara nailed the lead for Olympic Youth in the 28th minute.

But Funan rallied in the closing stages of an exhilarating encounter for Ty Bunnarith to score a brace in the 33rd and 37th minute as Long Nasy then scored the fourth goal a minute to the end.

With the defeat, Olympic Youth will take on Khmer Eysann FC for the third spot.
