Debutant Chaiyawat Burat made a dream start with a low drive for the lead before Kasidech Wettayawong doubled the advantage with a long range effort.
Cambodian All-Stars then pulled a goal back through Shane Booysen moments before the end of the first half as Masahiro then flicked in the equaliser just after the restart.
Chan Vathanaka then put the home team 4-2 in front with a brace as Sareach Yuyen then nailed the third goal for Muangthong albeit too late to change the inevitable.
