PHNOM PENH (14 May 2015) – The Cambodian national Under-23 side’s preparation for the SEA Games at the end of the year did not exactly got off on the right note when they fell to a 1-0 loss to the South Korean U22 side in a friendly that was played at the Thong Nhat Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City.
But the Cambodians get at least get some solace from the loss when they held the physically superior Koreans to a scoreless draw at the end of a pulsating first half.
The Koreans found the back of the net six minutes after restart.
