PHNOM PENH (29 Jan 2012) – The Cambodian Under-21 side need to improve on their second-half stamina when they gave up a three-goal lead to be held 3-3 by a visiting Ulsan University team at the National Olympic Stadium.
The home team started strongly when as early as the fifth minute Chan Vathanaka nailed the opener before Chhin Chhouen added the second goal in the 11th minute for a 2-0 lead at the break.
And by the time, Srey Udom put them 3-0 in front in the 54th minute, the Cambodia side was full of confidence that they might just put their previous defeat to their Malaysian counterparts behind them.
But the South Koreans were not about to give up and when Lee Jae Wook nailed their first goal in the 56th minute, things began to stutter in the Cambodian backline. Heo Won then took full advantage when he scored twice in the 63rd and 82nd minute for both teams to share the spoils.
