PHNOM PENH (14 Jan 2012) – A solitary strike in the first half from Mohd Izuan Solahudin was enough for Harimau Muda to carve out a close 1-0 win over the Cambodian national Under-21 team at the National Olympic Stadium earlier today.
In front of a crowd of well over 15,000, Mohd Izuan found the target with just three minutes remaining in the first half
The Cambodia side which featured several over-aged players is being prepared for the Hassanal Bolkiah Trophy 2012 next month in Brunei. The Malaysian visitors are tuning up for their participation in the Singapore S-League, which will also kick off in Feruary.
The Cambodian team is under Korean Lee Tae Hoon while Ong Kim Swee is at the helm of the Malaysians.
